The intelligent relay for connection of climate control (IR module)
Sometimes at connection of the prestarting heater of the engine refuse to the consumer connection of climate control, motivating it with the fact that such configuration will discharge the accumulator. Our experts have developed the Intelligent Relay module (IR module) for the solution of this problem.
The main function of this device — protection of the accumulator, and with him connection of climate control becomes possible. The device controls a charge of the rechargeable battery and tension of onboard network. At standard connection of climate control the regular fan is started at a temperature of engine of +34C, that is heating of salon begins. If weather not too cold, is enough a charge of the accumulator for warming both the engine, and salon. But in a hard frost can not be enough for start of the engine of a charge.
If in the car the IR module is installed, then it is possible to establish higher threshold of inclusion, for example, 50 or 60C. In this case the engine will manage to get warm up to the necessary temperature. The IR module can block operation of the regular fan if establishes that the charge of the accumulator isn't enough. Besides, this device is irreplaceable in case it is necessary to support in a hard frost heat in the car during the short parking without turning on of the engine.
The usual system of climate control doesn't work at the switched-off engine. If you have installed the prestarting Hydronic heater with the IR module, then it is possible to maintain heat in salon if it is necessary to leave in shop or to take away the child from school. It should be noted that, as a rule, minicars can be heated in a hard frost without prejudice to operation of the engine, on SUVs at a temperature of -20C salon it isn't warmed.
The IR module (Intelligent Relay) activates electronically controlled fans of climate systems of the car in a parking operating mode of the prestarting heater of the internal combustion engine on cars with tension of onboard network 12V. Can to function both as tension divider, and as the relay of pulse-width modulation. Controls tension of onboard network of the car and automatically turns off warming up of salon in case of undervoltage lower than 11,4V.
