Glow pin 24V for Air Top Evo 3900/5500/40/55
Glow pin
The glow pin performs also function of the sensor of a flame. The glow pin represents electric resistance and is located in a burner from the party turned to a flame. During start-up he lights fuel-air mix in the combustion chamber. As the flame sensor it functions as the low-impedance resistor with positive temperature coefficient which resistance changes depending on heating by a flame. Signals are given on the control unit and processed of the Sensor of a flame controls existence of a flame during the whole that time until the heater is switched on.
Check of resistance of a glow pin.
ATTENTION! When checking any component of the heater removed from him, as a rule, it is necessary to disconnect the checked component from the control unit.
When checking by a digital multimeter at a glow pin the following electric parameters have to be observed:
Replacement of a glow pin.
Dismantling.
1. To uncover.
2. To remove laying.
3. To remove the control unit.
4. To remove the air motor.
Instruction: Operations with the 5th on the 10th need to be performed if the heater has to a burner without blenda, and with the 11th on the 14th - a burner with blendy.
5. To remove the lever the fixing burner latch.
6. To take out a sleeve of a glow pin from the heat exchanger, having pressed her.
7. If it is necessary, carefully to unbend a safety overlay of a cable of a glow pin on the combustion chamber.
8. To take out a burner.
9. To unscrew the screw.
10. To take out a glow pin from a butner.
11. To take out EJOT FDS SF screws.
12. To take out a sleeve of a glow pin from the heat exchanger, having pressed her, and a burner from blendy - from the combustion chamber.
13. To unscrew the screw.
14. To take out a glow pin from a burner with blendy.
15. To carry out works with the removed components.
Installation.
Instruction: Operations with the 1st on the 5th need to be performed if the heater has a burner without blenda, and with the 6th on the 13th - a burner with blendy.
1. To insert a glow pin into a burner tube (a cable in the direction of an opening for a sleeve) and to fix by the screw.
2. To tighten the screw with the moment 0,8 ± 0,8 Nanometers.
3. To establish a burner and to insert a sleeve of a glow pin into the heat exchanger. If the safety slip was unbent, to bend it back.
4. To carry out a cable of a glow pin under a safety slip and through an opening in the heat exchanger case.
5. To record a burner a latch.
6. To insert a glow pin into a burner with blendy (a cable in the direction of an opening for a sleeve in a blenda) and to fix by the screw.
7. To carry out a cable of a glow pin through an opening in blende.
8. To tighten the screw with the moment 0,8 ± 0,08 Nanometers.
9. A burner with blendy to screw in the combustion chamber.
10. To insert a sleeve for a fuel intake into a heat exchanger casing.
11. To fix a blenda and the combustion chamber by EJOT FDS screws.
12. To tighten EJOT FDS SF screws with the moment 2,5
13. To carry out a cable of a glow pin through the heat exchanger and to put on him a sleeve.
14. To establish the air motor.
