Flame detector.
The Flame detector functions as the low-impedance resistor with positive temperature coefficient which resistance changes depending on heating (existence of a flame). Signals are given on the control unit and processed of the Sensor of a flame controls existence of a flame during the whole time until the heater is switched on.
Diagnostics of the Flame detector.Instruction: Check of resistance of the Flame detector (only petrol heater). Measurement of resistance not rather exact multimeter can be the cause of incorrect diagnostics. As an example it is possible to use obviously serviceable Flame detector. When checking by a multimeter at the Flame detector at a temperature electric parameters have to lie in the following limits:
Replacement of the Flame detector (only for petrol modification).
Dismantling.
1. To remove the heater.
2. To disassemble the case.
3. To remove the control unit.
4. To remove the air motor.
5. To unscrew two screws and remove a clamping plate.
6. To squeeze out inside rubber consolidation of a plait from the heat exchanger.
7. To accurately unbend the fixing bracket and to pull out the Flame detector from a burner.
8. To utilize the Flame detector.
9. To carry out works with the removed components.
Installation.
ATTENTION! The cable of the Flame detector has to settle down under a fuel tube.
1. To push the Flame detector under a fuel tube, to push the plug in the heat exchanger to insert cable consolidation into place.
2. To carry out a cable with protective isolation under a bracket and to install the Flame detector in a burner.
3. To turn in the fixing bracket.
4. To fix a plate by screws.
5. To tighten screws since the moments of 6±0.6 nanometers.
6. To tighten a Flame detector cable.
7. To establish the air motor.
8. To install the control unit.
9. To assemble the case.
10. To install the heater.
