An in-line diesel fuel heater 1.2 meters long.
This is a self-regulating fuel rail heater, which automatically reduces the current consumption when it is warmed up. The heating element of the heater consists of two parallel twisted copper bus bars separated by a polymer core containing graphite particles. When heated, the polymer core expands, which leads to an increase in its resistance and a decrease in the current consumed. As a result of self-regulation, the efficiency of the heater is increased and the possibility of its overheating is excluded. Installation of the heater is made by simply replacing the regular section of the fuel line. The heater is controlled by a switch from the front panel of the car.
