Heating cartridge
The heating cartridge.
Nozzle heating system.
At very low temperatures, due to the changed fuel viscosity, there may be problems with the heater due to insufficient fuel spray.
These temperatures vary depending on the fuel used. When using in cold areas or when using other fuel (not diesel), it is recommended to use the nozzle heating system. The nozzle heating system consists of a heating cartridge and a thermostat. At temperatures below 5°C, the heating cartridge heats the injector block and thus the fuel and spray nozzle. The viscosity of the fuel decreases and the atomization is improved. The duration of heating depends on the temperature of the intake air and the reflected heat coming from the combustion chamber. At temperatures above 8°C, the thermostat is turned off.
Using the nozzle heating system is an additional function. Additional equipment can be performed without changing the control unit.
Check the heating system of the nozzle.
INDICATION!
At temperatures below 5°C, the thermostat connects the heating cartridge. The heating duration depends on the temperature of the inlet air and recovered heat coming from the combustion chamber, the heating thermostat turns off at temperatures above 8°C. the power consumption of the heater cartridge At 24V is approximately 80 watts.
Check.
* Remove the burner head.
* Disconnect the plug from the control unit.
• Connect an ohmmeter to the plug.
* Switch the thermostat.
* Resistance coefficient max. 8 Ohms.
