Mounting kit and control are included in the scope of delivery.
AIRTRONIC D2 is very convenient for installation, because it is compact and has a wide range of mounting positions. However, during installation, the most important vehicle systems (fuel and liquid) are affected.
Sphere of application of the heater
The independent air-heating device, taking into account its thermal power, is intended for installation on the following vehicles:
• Vehicles of all types (max 9 seats) and trailers to them
• Construction machinery
• Agreecultural machines. Agreecultural equipment
• Boats, ships and yachts (only diesel heaters)
• Cars equipped for housing
• Installation of heating devices (diesel, 24 V only) is allowed on vehicles intended for the transport of dangerous goods
as prescribed by ADR.
• For heating the cargo area / transported goods, the standard control unit must be replaced by a special control unit
• "Plus" mounting kits are intended for installation in a car equipped for housing.

Composition of the heater AIRTRONIC D2 24V.
The heater consists of the following main components:
- Air blower
- The combustion chamber
- Heat Exchanger
- Control block
The principle of the AIRTRONIC D2 24V heater.
When enabled, the control lamp in the control lights up. The glow plug is turned on and the fan runs at low speed.
After 65 seconds, the fuel supply starts and the air-fuel mixture ignites in the combustion chamber.
After 60 seconds after the detection by the combined sensor (combustion sensor) of the presence of flame, the pin electrode of the filament is disconnected. After that, the unit is in the normal operation mode.
In heating mode, the room temperature or the temperature of the intake air is constantly measured.
If the temperature is higher than the value set on the control panel, the regulation starts.
There are 4 stages of regulation, which ensures precise adjustment of the heat energy flow supplied by the heating device in accordance with the needs. The speed of the fan and the amount of fuel supplied correspond with the selected control stage. If the temperature is exceeded, even at the lowest stage of the regulation, the heater goes to the "OFF" control stage with the inertial fan run for about 4 minutes for cooling. Then the fan runs until the next start at minimum speed (recirculation mode) or turns off (fresh mode air).
When the heater is switched off, the test lamp goes out and the fuel supply is cut off.
For cooling, the inertial run-out of the fan is provided for about 4 minutes. To clean the combustion chamber during the inertial run-out of the fan, a pinning electrode is turned on for about 40 seconds.
Special situation: If the fuel supply does not occur before shutdown or if the heater is located in the "OFF" stage, the heater goes into standby after the inertial run-out.
